20-Somethings Lend a Hand at Miracle League!
On Saturday, June 14th, the 20-somethings got together and helped out at The Miracle League. We were able to help kids with both physical and mental handicaps enjoy an American pastime – their very own baseball game – which they were pretty serious about! Both the volunteers and kids had a great time, and seeing the smiles on these kids’ faces was such a joy. We were also fortunate enough to be at that game when Jeremy Bonderman stopped by to take pictures and sign autographs for the kids. The weather was great and lunch was yummy afterwards – a perfect day!
Note From The President:
On behalf of our league I want to thank you and your church group for coming out to “buddy” with our teams this past weekend.
Please pass on to your group that I have received many complements from players and parents about how great they were. I hope they had as much fun at our field as we had having them.
If anyone would like to volunteer again they can register on our website for specific dates or as a group by emailing Patty Weinrauch. I look forward to meeting you for lunch soon.
Sincerely,
Stephen Peck
